Two days entirely devoted to hats!
Hats are one of the best props around, they can create character and provide no end of stage ‘business’, they can be manipulated in many different ways and are unquestionably one of the most fun props out there.
If you are UK based or in the UK on November 11/12th and you are interested or already love hats then this one is for YOU!! 🎩🤗🤩
The ‘Funshop’ is being hosted by Ben Cornish and Natalie Verhaegen, circus practitioners and survivors of the Circomedia Directing Circus MA. We discovered that we have a shared love of hats …and silliness and a fascination with creating work for presentation/ performance.
The first day will be a practical up-levelling of skills and exploring performance concepts and technique.
The second day will be for collaboration and development of ideas, concluding with an informal showing.
Suggested donation is £50. Perhaps you would like to support and offer more. Perhaps you are poor and passionate and we know you will pay what you can.
It is open to all levels from beginner to professional. We will skill share, teach and mostly explore and collaborate (a big emphasis on explore and collaborate - we might get a bit leftfield).
